They secured three straight home victories at the annual Tipoff Tournament at Percy Carr Gym. They defeated Palo Verde, Lassen, and Feather River to move to 3\u20131 on the young season. The Jaguars showcased balance, efficiency, and depth throughout the three-day event. They averaged 80 points per game. They controlled the tempo on both ends of the floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>November 6: SJCC 92, Palo Verde 71<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Jaguars opened the home slate with an emphatic 92\u201371 win over Palo Verde. They set the tone early with a 45\u201328 halftime advantage. The team shot 52.2% from the field. The Jaguars built a 38\u201322 halftime lead and held Lassen to just 38.6% shooting from the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sjcc.prestosports.com\/sports\/mbkb\/2025-26\/bios\/butler_jeremiah_4j6s\">Jeremiah Butler<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;led the team with 10 points. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sjcc.prestosports.com\/sports\/mbkb\/2025-26\/bios\/royster_taj_vqu9\">Taj Royster<\/a><\/strong> scored 9 points. They defeated Feather River 75\u201364. This closed the Tipoff Tournament with a decisive comeback victory. The Jaguars trailed 30\u201328 at intermission. Then, they outscored Feather River 47\u201334 in the second half. This was thanks to hot shooting and a strong bench performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sjcc.prestosports.com\/sports\/mbkb\/2025-26\/bios\/baker_ryan_rw6t\">Ryan Baker<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;led all scorers with 18 points. He achieved this with 5-for-7 shooting.
