\u201cCoach Jones has been one of the best assistant coaches in my 28 years at San Jose City College,\u201d said head coach Debbie Huntze-Rooney. \u201cHis passion, commitment, guidance, respect of players, coaches, and umpires, and the knowledge of the game is what sets him apart from others. His personality and smile were contagious and often times helped the players relax and play the game of softball at their highest level.\u201d <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re also proud of SJCC Softball Team #28 for Academic Excellence ranked #32 in the nation and #3 in California with a Team GPA of 3.276 for the 2018-19 academic year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Six softball student-athletes were recognized as Easton\/NFCA All-American Scholar Athletes with a 3.5 GPA or higher. Congratulations to Sam Brenny, Haile Landrum, Rosie Quezada, Kayla Rooney, Keelin Spencer and Stefanie Troja. Go Jags!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
