Preventing Campus Bicycle Thefts

To help ensure that your bike stays where it belongs, here are some anti-theft tips from campus police; 

• Use the appropriate type of lock that can’t easily be broken into or destroyed
• Lock your bike to a proper bike rack and secure it in the best way possible
• Do not leave your bike on campus for an extended period of time
• Make sure you have a photo of, and the serial number of your bike, in case it does get stolen
