SJCC Hosts African Ancestry Day

African Diaspora came together to showcase and experience each other’s cultures through food, music, art, and African cultural experiences. The grand opening featured a Drum Circle, Dances and the All African Attire Parade with Masks and bells.

There was complimentary food, a fashion show, dance performances, workshops, guest speakers, exhibitions, and African Zumba! It was a chance to build and celebrate our legacies and communities during Black History Month and the contributions, inventions, innovations in technology, medicines, fashion, and music.
