Transgender Awareness Month

In honor of Transgender Awareness Month, the President’s Arts & Lectures Series and the Safe Zone Program present:

‘Who We Are, Where We Are, Where We’re Going. Transgender Experience Today ‘
A diverse group of transgender panelists tells of their unique journeys. Panelists will also discuss the effects of the current political climate and how everyone can help support transgender awareness. The event will wrap-up with a moment of silence to commemorate Transgender Day of Remembrance.

An altar in honor of the transgender persons that have been murdered this year will be built in the gallery before the event.
